Bridging Past Lessons
with Future Preparedness

2024 commemorates the 20th anniversary of the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami, one of the most devastating tsunamis in history. This milestone serves as a poignant reminder of nature’s immense power and the critical need for preparedness. To address this, we have created Tsunami United—not only as an innovative initiative to involve and educate the next generation on tsunami risks, awareness, and preparedness but also as a global movement to empower the Next Generation of Coastal Resilience Guardians.
