On June 7, 2024, the Tsunami United organizer successfully conducted the 1st student session.
This session highlights the goals and objectives of a program focused on tsunami memory, risk communication, and ocean perspectives. The students were encouraged to share their thoughts on the ocean and its significance to them. The session included interactive activities, such as a poll on future professions, and discussions on various aspects of the ocean.
The most interesting interaction was the discussion on what the ocean means to each participant. The students came up with personal stories and associations, such as the ocean providing space for reflection, being a source of livelihood, and symbolizing peace.
If you’re unable to attend the live event, don’t worry! you can catch up by watching the recording of the session. The insightful discussions, valuable insights, and practical tips shared by our speakers await you in the recording.
